Functional Blood Chemsitry

At Rellness, we don't just look at whether your labs fall within "normal" range, we look at what's optimal. Standard reference ranges are built from a large, mixed population, people of every age and every health status, which means "normal" can be a very wide net. Functional reference ranges are different: they're narrower, and based on data from healthy populations within specific age brackets. That distinction matters, because "normal" and "optimal" aren't always the same thing.

Your bloodwork can show how your physiology is functioning. We can gather information on:

  • Thyroid function

  • Antioxidant capacity

  • Immune system functioning

  • Nutrient status

  • Inflammation

  • Cholesterol and lipids

  • Detoxification capacity

  • Blood sugar and insulin
